Would you like to run a course in your area? Benefit from 15 years of Keith & Sarah Condie’s experience.
Building A Safe & Strong Marriage provides you with a Facilitators Workbook that will give you the basis to run a successful marriage course.
We have developed a detailed Facilitator’s Manual so that Building a Safe & Strong Marriage can be run for small groups in someone’s home or for larger groups at church. You don’t need to be a marriage expert, you just need to be confident presenting in front of a group, and enthusiastic about supporting marriages. Ideally, it would be great to have a married couple both facilitate together.
You will find help on our website with promoting the course in your church and in your local community. The Manual also provides many tips on how to run the course: from setting up the space to timetables for evening or weekend-intensive sessions, it even provides you with the words to say as you introduce and lead each session.
If you are committed to supporting marriages, Building a Safe & Strong Marriage is reasonably easy to run.
Should we run this over a weekend or over five weeks?
Depending on your facilitators and your church calendar, you can do either. Both work really well. The benefit of running the course over five weeks is that you are helping couples begin to invest time into their relationship and form a new habit of setting aside a night a week to hang out together.
Many couples drift apart because they stop spending time together. If couples can set aside one night a week for five weeks, this helps them begin a habit that they can build on after the course.
